That old digital camera gathering dust in the back of your junk drawer? Eastman Kodak Co. might buy it off you.
The photo and imaging company is beefing up its consumer electronics recycling efforts with the promise of cash. Under Kodak’s new Trade-In and Recycling Program effort announced Wednesday, people can go to www.trade-in-center.com/kodak/ and gauge demand for their old printers, digital still and video cameras, digital picture frames and camera accessories — including products made by companies other than Kodak.
People with products that have some value will get a check and a discount offer from Kodak’s online store and a pre-paid shipping label.
The rest will get a list of options for recycling — rather than throwing away — gadgetry.
