Educational content

The drawings, animations, games and explanations on this site describe representative products and processes, not specific models or ERI facilities, and are provided for education. Statements about what a product most likely contains are generalizations that depend on each product’s design. Nothing on this site is advice on handling, shipping or processing any material; follow the guidance of the product’s manufacturer and your local programs.

Inquiries are not acceptance

Sending an inquiry starts a conversation with ERI. It is not an offer to buy, a commitment to accept any material, a shipment authorization, a price, or a guarantee of recovery, yield or value. Any arrangement follows from a separate written agreement with ERI.

The assistant answers only from this site’s reviewed sources and may decline to answer. Its answers are educational and may be incomplete or out of date; they do not form part of any agreement with ERI and are not a substitute for the inquiry process or professional advice.

Third-party programs and sources

The recycling finder lists programs operated by others. ERI does not control them; check each program’s accepted items and instructions before visiting. Links to external sources are provided for reference and do not imply endorsement.

Intellectual property

The site’s drawings, text, animations and games are provided by ERI, including illustrative renderings produced with generative tools under ERI’s direction, and may not be copied, modified or reused without written permission, except as ERI’s Terms of Use allow.
